For its 21-22 Concert Season, Milwaukee Musaik returns to the Woman's Club of Wisconsin on Novermber 11 and January 14, the Conservatory of Music on March 8, and a special Chamber Orchestra performance at the Wisconsin Lutheran College, on April 12. Distinguished for its unusual programming and stellar musician roster, Milwaukee Musaik juxtaposes timeless classics with the new and unfamiliar.
Bachanalia-2021
We open Milwaukee Musaik’s season with Bachanalia 3-6-5! an all J.S. Bach concert. Join us to celebrate the tercentennial of the Brandenburg Concertos and other favorites. Pianist Stefanie Jacob will be the soloist in the exquisite F minor keyboard concerto, and we will bring to life the intricate sounds of the Ricercar a 6 from The Musical Offering.
In Folk Tones, Musaik artists will perform an unforgettable smorgasbord of folk-inspired works ranging from American spirituals and jazz/ragtime to Asian and Hebraic tones. It is our sincere wishes for you to join us during our diverse musical season. Please check the full season description below.
Don't miss our Clazzical Chamber Orchestra season closer concert! Yes, we will perform jazz, a Russian jazz piano concerto by Nikolai Kapustin. We welcome Spanish pianist Daniel del Pino for the American chamber premiere of Kapustin's Piano Concerto No. 2 "JAZZ". We will also spotlight Musaik virtuosi artists; flautist Heather Zinninger Yarmel, and harpist Kelsey Molinari as soloists in Mozart's exquisite Concerto for Flute & Harp.
