A nature inspired chamber music program filled with poetry, beauty, and unforgettable voices, featuring twice Grammy-nominated soprano Laura Strickling. From the dreamlike colors of Milhaud and Roussel to the radiant songs of Amy Beach and the beloved Shepherd on the Rock by Schubert, this concert explores music inspired by nature, love, poetry, and the night sky. The program also features the world premiere of "In the Yielding Golden Light" – a quintet for flute and string quartet by composer Christian Ellenwood, written especially for flutist Heather Zinninger and Milwaukee Musaik.
