MILWAUKEE MUSAIK - "GOLDEN CELEBRATION" - ORCHESTRA CONCERT
GOLDEN CELEBRATION! In 1973, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Principal Oboist, Stephen Colburn, planted a musical seed; the seed germinated and grew to become the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra. After restructuring in 2015, it became a consortium and was rebranded as Milwaukee Musaik.
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music at the Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church! MILWAUKEE MUSAIK presents "A GOLDEN CELEBRATION". A spectacular orchestra concert led by its founding conductor, Stephen Colburn, and successors: Richard Hynson, and Alexander Mandl, will leave you mesmerized. A special commissioned work by Wisconsin-based composer Christian Ellenwood will be premiered at this event. Let the powerful music of Richard Strauss, Ottorino Respighi, Christian Ellenwood and more...transport you to a world of pure bliss and enchantment.
