TRADITIONS REIMAGINED
Monday, May 17, 2027, at 7:00pm – Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church
What happens when great composers take familiar traditions and transform them into something entirely new? Find out in a colorful program featuring Copland's beloved Appalachian Spring, Respighi's sumptuous Suite in G Major, Stravinsky's sophisticated Dumbarton Oaks Concerto, and Milhaud's exuberant Brazilian-folk inspired Le Boeuf sur le toit. Organist Simone Gheller joins conductor Alexander Mandl and the Milwaukee Musaik Chamber Orchestra for an exciting musical journey that crosses continents, cultures, and centuries, proving that tradition can be the starting point for extraordinary innovation.
