DESCRIPTION:\n\n	Our Milwaukee Musaik 22-23 season opener ushers the fresh autumnal spirit of the abundance of the harvest, and gratitude as come together again with our audience and continue to bring you even closer to the music !\nKeeping with Musaik’s eclectic programming tradition, the season opens with works featuring black composers; Valerie Coleman’s Maombi Asante (a joyful prayer of thanksgiving), and a Violin Concerto, soloed by our very own concertmaster, Jeanyi Kim, by violinist and swordsman Joseph Bologne. Contrasting are works from the Impressionism period: an unusual impressionist work by Florent Schmitt, and Debussy’s Danses Sacrée et Profane, spotlighting Musaik’s harpist, Kelsey Molinari.
